G3 Kids Church
Sunday Mornings | During Regular Service Times
Our G3 Kids Church offers a nursery to take care of your 0-2 year olds, a “Little Arrows” class for your 3-K kids, and a “G3 Kids” service for 1-5 grade students.
Our passion is to help each child discover that their true identity and destiny is found in Jesus Christ alone and to connect them with the Father’s heart so that they will serve Him all the days of their lives.
All of our kids workers are trained, have clean background checks, and are ready to have fun with your kids and teach them about Jesus and how to follow Him!
DISCIPLESHIP
Wednesday Nights | 6:30-8:00 PM
Our kids meet in their age group classes for a night that is more focused on discipleship by learning and growing in how we follow Jesus!
Genesis Youth
Sunday Nights | 6:00-8:00 PM
Genesis Youth is a place where students from 6th-12th grade can gather in their own space and discover what it means to follow Jesus. Genesis Youth is a safe place where we like to have fun through worship, games, small group discussions, and the teaching from the Bible. We believe that the Bible has been given to us to help reveal who God is, who we are, how to live our lives to the fullest, and how to make a difference in our world.
Genesis Youth also gets together for fun hangouts, amazing events, and a weekly night focused on discipleship for those wanting to get more intentional about following Jesus.
DISCIPLESHIP
Wednesday Nights | 6:30-8:00 PM
Wednesday nights are our night to get serious about how we follow Jesus. Students will get together and have some fun, taught about what it means to follow Jesus in their culture, and engage in “real talk” conversations with other students and youth leaders
Mid-Week Adult Bible Studies
Wednesday Nights | 6:30-8:00 PM
We host an adult Bible study for the whole church on Wednesday nights while Genesis Youth and G3 Kids are meeting to go deeper into a life topic, portion of Scripture, or biblical theme. These take place for 4-8 weeks, depending on what we are talking about and other discipleship efforts that may be scheduled.
These Bible studies are always announced during Sunday services each semester, so stay connected for the next one!
Renew Academy
Saturdays (Quarterly) | 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Renew Academy is a discipleship cohort made up of 4 specific, 1-day training sessions. Each session focuses on one of the four most important areas of training and development in your discipleship journey. They are:
SPARK: Explores what it means to follow Jesus, what He’s done for us, and how to live as a child of God from your first steps to your final breath
NAVIGATE: Helps you understand what the Bible is and is not, how to read it and enjoy it, and to show you how it speaks to real life. We want you to know how to study the Bible for yourself and not to have to rely solely on others to understand it
EMPOWERED: Unpacks the role of the Holy Spirit, the supernatural Gifts of the Spirit, and how to operate in them to live on mission with God. We also do practical training on how to use those gifts!
MULTIPLY: Trains you to share your faith, build relationships, and make disciples who make disciples—from being able to explain the Gospel, to how to craft your testimony, to how to be an effective witness whether you’re an introvert or extrovert
Each session is offered at least once every year. And it is our goal to have everyone go through all four sessions throughout their time at Genesis. Whether you’re new to faith or ready to go deeper, Renew Academy is a great next step!

Young Adults
Chi Alpha & Genesis Life Groups
Genesis Church has a great partnership with our IU Chi Alpha (XA) college ministry that operates on campus. Many of the Chi Alpha students, leaders, and missionaries are part of the Genesis family!
If you have a student that attends IU, we can help you get them connected to a great on-campus community of students who are passionately following Jesus and loving their community AND to an incredible church family.
For young adults going to a college other than IU in the area, are in trade school, or are jumping into a career, we have a young adult Genesis Life Groups! These groups are for college and career ages, as well as young adult working professionals and young families. They get together regularly for meals, fun events, and to grow in our relationship with the Lord. But these groups are also filled with the people who will share their lives with you, support you, and encourage you in your discipleship.
“Practicing the Way” Groups
Wednesdays Nights | 6:30-8:00 PM
Practicing the Way Groups are small groups that focus on developing a life of spiritual habits and practices that actually work, excite you, and help you as you seek to be a disciple—or apprentice—of Jesus.
Each group meets for a 4-week session that focuses on 1 of the 9 spiritual practices of Christianity: sabbath, prayer, fasting, solitude, generosity, scripture, community, service, and witness. In these sessions, you will have a high-quality video teaching, have powerful and raw conversations, and practice the practices.
But most important of all, you will learn how to live deeper from a personally crafted set of spiritual practices that work for you and are life-giving as you are molded day by day into the likeness of Jesus.
